The best calculator app for Android (TI)

Hello everyone, now I will talk about what is for me the best calculator app for your android devices, the app’s name is Graph 89, it’s an emulator of the well-known Texas Instrument calculators.

There are two versions of this calculator app, the free version and the paid version. Dritan Hashorva developed this android app.

This calculator app emulates the following TI calculators: TI-83, TI-83 Plus, TI-83 Plus SE, TI-84 Plus, Ti-84 Plus SE, TI-89, TI-92, TI-92 Plus, Voyage 200 and my favorite calculator TI-89 Titanium, I used this calculator in my college years now I have it on my android device.

First, you must have one of the mentioned calculators, and then you need to extract the ROM from your own calculator and copy it to the internal memory of your Android Device.

IMPORTANT. Don’t ask anyone, for ROM images. It’s illegal to distribute them. You can find more information on the internet.

Once you have the ROM image in your memory, just go to the app ROM manager and install it by opening the file, select the calculator type and that’s it, Now you have a scientific calculator on your android device.

This calculator app has all the functions and features of a Texas Instrument calculator; you can install applications and send files, as every Texas calculator has an intuitive use and can be used by students, engineers, practically anyone can use it.

There are some differences between the free version and the paid version; we can mention the following improvements:

Calculator APP Free and Paid Version

– A backup Manager, creates restore points keeping all the last operations that you have made, the last installed programs, etc.

You have the next differences in the configuration settings:

– Some differences that are not very important in the display settings: the screen type, enable grayscale, screen orientation, off pixel color, on pixel color, LCD screen background color.

– Some interesting differences in the emulation settings (of course my favorites):

calculator app paid version config

a) CPU Speed: Change the max speed of the emulation engine

b) Overclock when busy: Speed up the engine while performing calculations

c) Energy Save: Slow down if no activity

These improvements in the paid version of the emulator are incredible; the emulator comes to work faster than the same calculator does. I recommend it.

I hope you liked this post; the android app is great for everyone. I recommend try the free version first.
